Earth Hour is officially here again. It's held on the last Saturday of March every year. So lets show our support by switching off lights tonight for an hour from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m.

Okay... This is a quick post.

Hubs and I are staying a night at Centrepoint Hotel now. It's almost midnite. Our room is exactly above Jollibee, we're at the very end of the building.

This is a good reminder for me and for you. Don't take room on this side of the building!! I can hear music from a loudspeaker that could have been playing at Coffeezone. It's kinda loud if you're hoping for a quiet night and you just wanna crash early. It's already midnight now....the music from Coffeezone has now been replaced with more boom-ing sound from a car loudspeaker which is totally annoying!

It would have been better to get a room on a higher level, like level 7. We're on 3rd floor, btw.

I had a shower earlier and used the hair shampoo....but the liquid was too mild that I didn't get a good hairwash. Now that sucks since I like the shower head so much.

They don't provide free breakfast nowadays. I wonder why. They now charge the breakfast that normally comes in a package. That sucks big time, coz I love having breakfast in hotels.

Oh-oh...and I don't like Tim....watching American Idol now. I hate it that he stays and doesn't get eliminated YET!

Oh goshhhh....next week's theme is R&B and they'll be having Usher on AI.

I'm looking at Miley performing and can't help but wonder why her voice can't get any higher. I could see she's screaming out and giving her all. I love her hair and dress...she looks like a mermaid.

Weirdness all over again...

It has been soooooo long since I last logged into blogger.com.

I just wanted to get something out of my chest today. I always get this weird feeling whenever this comes up.

I dreamt of him a few days ago. I had a real good sleep, crashed early around ten or eleven. It felt like I was brought into another world. I know I was dreaming, coz he was there. His features were still the same like how I remember him....curly hair, long face. It seemed like a long dream to me that night.

He didn't say a thing nor look at me in the eye. But he was there alright. I didn't hear his voice either. But I remember feeling hesitant...worried...

We were in a car, he was driving. He wanted to take me & see his mother. I felt awkward, coz it has been decades.

I got worried.... I thought about my husband. I worry that something's gonna happen and separate us. I realize and know with all my heart that I deeply love my husband. And he...he was just a memory now.

We did get to meet his mother in that dream. But it didn't change the way I feel, being hesitant and worried all over again. I got up in the morning and felt so weird with what I had just encountered. His image just kept playing in my head the whole day.

I was lying in my bed last night. I began counting....he was 26 when he died....and I was only 21 when I lost him.

OMG... I think my right arm is beginning to feel sore after all that heavy lifting on Wednesday afternoon at work. We were shifting tonnes or should I say a wall of A4 papers from one place to another just so that a wall cabinet can fit into our stationery store room, and shift the boxes of papers into the cabinet etc.

Our staffroom is still a big mess. But we're slowly sorting everything and moving the furnitures around. It does need a good updating.

Currently at the bride's home as they're organizing karaoke fun and lucky draw for the whole family and relatives. They put up the white screen and projector on -- for the pleasure of watching football match.
Me, on the other hand, sitting in their living room...feeling bored. I don't sing and I certainly rather sleep rite now. My eyes are getting tired.
I wish I brought my laptop with me instead of typing away on these small e61i keypad.

It's the 8th day since 2010 started. I haven't post anything exciting since then. Been busy attending pre-wedding ceremonies for a relative who lives in the area. The big day is yet to come, Sunday 10th January.

Just took the baju for the special ocassion, sponsored by the bride's family. Not quite happy with the result. The tailor missed out a specific detail that I specificly acknowledged when I sent the clothing. Bummer! Lukis pun pandai lupa, dumb ass.

Nevertheless, she apologized and promised to give discount in future.

It's late....I better crash before my eyes get menyamal.

Whooaa...My first post of 2010!

A good start!

Hubs and I had a really good shopping spree yesterday. Oh did we spend hundreds in manggis mall.
I have to admit we got carried away with the shopping, nonetheless satisfied with the stuffs we get.

First was the bohemian crystals candy jar....to be used for hari raya 2010, off costttt. Bought 6 of them costed 150 bucks. Mind you, we've been setting our eyes on them since ramadhan last year. So, we're pretty happy with that.

Then, I bought a new thermos flask costed 47 bucks. A good deal since they have discount on that and worth 30+++ for it. And then, we kinda simbat terikah as well, since the electrical section pun ada additional discount, which is very rare. The rest of the stuffs were just groceries.

Aaaahhh...that has to be the highlight of the final days of 2009. A good shopping spree. Hehe.... I hope it's worth the bonu$ we spent on.

That reminds me, I really need to fix my car cd player!!! I can't be using the iPod the whole time just to listen to music. So uncool!

Oh, i'm gonna watch bunkface playing Situasi on tv2 now.

Counting down to the final hours of 2009

This is the final day of 2009. The clock is ticking away to the midnite of 2010.

I'd like to take this opportunity to give my farewell to 2009. It has been a blast! I'll miss you like any other years that past. But life has to go on (macam ada yang past away saja!) and I'm welcoming 2010 with hope and gratitude towards the future.

2009...I'm afraid, we shall NEVER meet again.

So let me just say HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 to all my friends and family, near and far, new and old.

Have a great new year celebration no matter where you are. Remember to drive safely. Let the 1st of January 2010 be a good day to start with.

Hubs and I went out yesterday late afternoon. Hairan, Serusop area wasn't as jammed as we imagined. Well, except for simpang masuk to Bismi bookstore. Biasa la, kan buka skulah...parents menyerang kadai buku sebelum kehabisan stok. And yang paling menarik, inda panjang queue pun di ATM Taib. Haaairan...

We only went out for a short while in Serusop, though. Not sure how it was like in Kiulap & Gadong. Stopped by Mestari Jaya Serusop & Excapade for sushi take away, bought a few dvds & we're home.

Watched this thrilling korean movie 'The Chaser' before bed last night. And ughhh...all that gruesome murder and chasing here and there left us kabak-kabak!

I mean, let me tell ya...it was gruesome alright if the killer uses chisel and hammer to kill his victims!

I shall stop at Bodyshop later as they're offering 20 and 25% discount for one-day-only Holiday Special. Hope I don't get too carried away besides getting myself make-up brushes.

Today's 28th December... Yes, people. Today is the day that roads will be jammed with shoppers and shopping centres swarmed with flowing customers. Bookstores may definitely be extra busy too!

I certainly am pretty excited too. Tapi inda apa la, tunggu tah beberapa hari lagi, just so that I don't get caught in a traffic jam sana-sini, or disappointment coz ATM machine kehabisan stock duit.



I do feel the urge and cravings to go shopping knowing that bonus kan keluar. Yeah, naturally, that's me. In spite of that, shopping isn't just the thing that comes to my mind.

Bonus to me is....something I wanna share with mom and dad. It's time for another family gathering. It's also an opportunity to set aside for advance bill payments.

Apart from all that, yeah, it's time for retail therapy. Hours and hours and hours of it too. That reminds me, my car single-cd player says it's time to get a new one. Pandai tia rusak, limpas 5 tahun memakai. Nevermind la. Kinda old fashioned looking jua sudah. I mean, c'mon....a single-cd player! They have touch-screen today, or at least cd-changer. It needs serious pimping, but nevertheless, I can settle with a minor-not-too-sophisticated-looking-to-impress kinda cd player.

So, whatever it is that you planned on spending your couple of grands on, lets be sure that it is what you need, yeah.

By the way, 3 days left for 2010! Woohoooo....

I have yet to pay a visit to my usual tailor. Need to make baju uniform for a cousin's wedding due on first week of January next year.

With two more weeks to new year, I know I should come up with the design by now so I can get them sent to the tailor.

I'm so done with searching through beautiful designs in the internet, mostly inspired by the mini and maxi dresses. **sigh**

If I could just decide whether to make a baju kurung or baju fesyen.....

Baju kurung = comfortable.... But, baju fesyen could look stunning....

Decision, decision!

It's the time of season again~

It's the time of the year again where I'll be occupied with my own project. That is typing and arranging scheme of work for subjects I'll be teaching next year. But most of all, I'll be looking forward to do my own 'self-designed-and-laminated' cover for the lesson plan.

I'll be sitting in front of the computer and search for my favourite image to be used in the background of my name. And to find the perfect image would be oh-so-endless as I would be looking through all the colourful, beautiful images in websites.

When I did finally find one that I like, I'd paste my name, personal file, school etc. (Anything that's paste-worthy for the cover. Of course, it's up to you wat-so-ever to be shown in the cover, yea.)

That reminds me, our boss requested on showing the school's motto, vision & mission in the front cover. And I forgot what they were!

[Note to self: jot down motto, vision and mission from the staff room Monday next week.]

Believe me, I'd be spending so much time on this....experimenting with colours, fonts, size, etc etc. When I'm done with that, it would be printed out in a piece of paper.

The next step is to find the most attractive wrapping paper in town! And I'd go just about anywhere to find it. When the search is done, I'd cut 2-pieces in the size of A4 paper. Get a laminating film and put it into the laminating machine. Not forgetting, the front cover has to have my printed name (that I bragged so much about earlier!).

Finally, punched both front-&-back-laminated covers with a binding machine. Lastly, print out the scheme of work, time-tables, class list etc etc aaaand I'm done.

We're here in Temburong, taking a few days break from the hectic and shopping-craveness at BSB.

It's past 9 p.m. and I'm typing away while TV3 is at the background. Hubs is already in bed, exhausted after the long drive from bandar. I'll definitely gonna crash early tonite. Nothing much to do here except for tv and getting online. The Telbru frequency via broadband is terribly low and slowwww here, btw.

Soooo....We're here to check out what's instore tomorrow at Bangar town....probably some bazaar-selling event opened only on Friday and Sundays during this holiday. Apart from that, we're here to relaaaaxxxx.....

Hubs is away, probably occupied with loads of work at the mo'... Can't text him coz he left his phone here...
What am I to do? I thinking of leaving the house for a regular visit at the salon, but I'm hesitating.

I watched an earlier episode of Lipstick Jungle last night. Oh, was it good to watch Nico & Victory on the screen again! I missed them. Nico just started getting to know her young boyfriend and Victory just started getting hitched with rich boyfriend, Joe.

A good Monday

It's a good Monday. Starting with submission of postgraduate application forms for 2011. I wish to continue my study. Mudahan dimakbulkan. Amiin....

Finally, I'm done with the application forms. Finished with photocopying forms, certificates, develpoing extra copies of passport-sized photos (which actually weren't recent photos of me!). Gosh, I'm embarassed to even take short glimpse of myself taken in 2006 or sumthin'. My face was wider...I look plump!

By 11-ish this morning, hubs and I went out window shopping and shopping, literally. Hehehe... Bought some new picture frames for his graduation photos.

I didn't realize that we were out that long till I got home at 4.30 p.m. It was fun and tiring at the same time...just go out and about without a plan.

We were hopping from one store to the other....Soon Lee Batu Satu....Hua Ho Tanjung Bunut....Cutepack Kiulap....and back home.

I didn't get myself anything except for a 2010 personal diary....and a full tummy. Hehehe.

Between application forms & due date

My proposal is still on its way. 95% under construction...., still needs to be polished.

I've started since Monday....filling in the forms, photocopying what's required, academic certificates, etc etc.

I'll be on holiday mode on the 7th (next Monday). Until then, there's so much to be done in a short period of time.

Gosh....this past few days my head's been thinking nothing but the application forms & my proposal. Even in my sleep! Honest.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY...Here I come!!

Thank God for Aidiladha that falls on Friday (tomorrow), and we could start school holiday early. So yeah, Saturday is absolutely a break for us.

Unfortunately, surat jawapan untuk permohonan cutiku balum sampai. It's an approval either my cuti is granted or not. Otherwise, I may need to turn up for work during the holidays. I hope I get them real soon.

I haven't been planning so much for December YET! Since we're not going (or flying) anywhere this year, we'd probably take it easy and settle for Miri or KK trip, so to speak.
