SCHOOL HOLIDAY...Here I come!!

Thank God for Aidiladha that falls on Friday (tomorrow), and we could start school holiday early. So yeah, Saturday is absolutely a break for us.

Unfortunately, surat jawapan untuk permohonan cutiku balum sampai. It's an approval either my cuti is granted or not. Otherwise, I may need to turn up for work during the holidays. I hope I get them real soon.

I haven't been planning so much for December YET! Since we're not going (or flying) anywhere this year, we'd probably take it easy and settle for Miri or KK trip, so to speak.

During this time of year, I'd reminisce on Korea and miss the Christmas melodies........

Can anybody explain....why do I have this particular song playing in my head since I got out of bed. It's been playing over and over again like it's on repeat or sumthin'. The unique thing about the whole thing is it's a dakwah song! Why a dakwah song is playing in my head. What did I do while I was sleeping last nite? Weird!!!

Alhamdulillah, everything went well today regarding Majlis Penyampaian Hadiah Murid Cemerlang 2009.

I could feel my body and mind is slowly sensing the tiredness after all the work, stress and making sure everything's done as planned.

Hari kemuncak, tomorrow. Acara penutup sekolah, majlis penyampaian hadiah Murid Cemerlang 2009.

I've been so busy lately that I just realised lama sudah inda jenguk Sabrina & Irfan...more than a week inda lawat my family. What's with surveying and pembelian hadiah-hadiah murid, guru-guru dan kakitangan warga sekolah. And this afternoon, meeting bersama ketua.

.

Seriously, when it's all over and done, I'm gonna headed to the spa or sumthin'....get a good massage....spend some or more time with the kids....give myself that self-awarded facial that I post-poned for weeks.....get some quality time with hubs. We've been both soooo into our own work and commitment that it's been a long while since our last dine out at Misato.

Can't wait for the school holidays. And how I wish we could go to Korea again.

Recovering...Alhamdulillah

Just a short update on what's going on tonite.

I feel a little better. My health is improving, so did my appetite.
Although, sometimes when I get hungry and start munching on food, inda jua brapa nyaman rasanya. Sounds ridiculous, I know. I guess I'm not 100% there yet.

I went on a shopping spree later in the evening. Bought a trophy....food as teachers' gifts. Eeeeeeverything is due on this Wednesday. All the hadiah murid, hadiah guru, hadiah kakitangan.... And I still need time to recover from my headache.

Tomorrow we shall start wrapping the gifts. Another loooong Monday for some of us. Lucky us.

Gosh! It's been so long since my last posting.

Updates...here we go...

I missed watching Nur Kasih for 3 consecutive weeks!! Unbelievable!! I still am UPSET & DISAPPOINTED with myself. I woke up in the middle of the nite when I realized what I missed. Apa buleh buat. Bukan lagi nasi sudah jadi bubur....at this point, it's BANGAS! There!!

But I heard that the show will be aired every weekdays soon. How soon? Which weekday?? I've no idea. So don't ask me any further. Unless if I work for TV3, maybe I would share something with you.

I'm actually not well, still recovering from a fever. I started having it on a nice Thursday morning. However, I can still tolerate after popping panadol & a good aerobic. I was reasonably okay until night time. I started to lose my appetite. Hubs brought home something nice to eat but I rejected them.

Next day (Friday) it got even worse. I didn't eat and only had little to drink. I threw up once and felt better after that. My head felt lighter, thank goodness. Suddenly I felt the urge to eat and didn't hesitate on that.

Then again, the dizziness came and I started to reject on food.

This morning, I know I wasn't ready to go to work. I was given permission to go home and rest. I know if I don't I'd probably throw up, or even pass out. I didn't get enough sleep nor eat the day before.

Tonite, alhamdulillah, my appetite is slowly improving. I hope I'm well enough by tomorrow, coz I need to do some errands for school. And time is very limited at this point.

Hubs decided to hold on to his graduation gown just for another week.

And so, I sit and wonder..........when shall we go for another shot at the studio........

The last time we did was on a Friday, two weeks back. Nevertheless, not happy with the result. I certainly want a perfect portrait picture of us in our gowns hanging on our living room wall. Wasn't that happy when I saw the condition of my tudung. That Photoplus photographer just took a snapshot without even checking everything. So, screw that!!

Another Friday last week, our family went for another photoshoot at this nice Universal photostudio in Kiulap. Really like their service!

So, hubs and I decide to take another shot there......pretty soon.

Alhamdulillah....

The PSR result this year is better than last year's dengan ada sedikit peningkatan dalam peratus lulus. Syukur jua.

Dibandingkan dengan keputusan dalam subjek Bahasa Melayu tahun lepas, cuma 4 orang murid saja yang belurih gred A. This year, syukur alhamdulillah, menyangkut 9 orang.

Yang bari hairannya, seorang murid kami ani, GP -A, Science -B, tapi yang lain (termasuk subjek BM) gred C. Subjek ku tah plg yang teturun.

Apa pun result kamu, wahai murid-murid ku, Cikgu doakan kamu sentiasa beroleh kejayaan di dunia dan akhirat. Amiin...

Selamat menempuh alam persekolahan yang baru tahun depan. Jangan lupa pesanan guru-guru kamu di sini.

Ready, steady, SNAP!!

Bila ku kenang-kenang......aaaaargggghhh....Frust coz I missed 'Nur Kasih' last night.

Supposed to watch it in the comfort of the currently-empty-living-room-haven't-carry-the-sofas-out-from-their-hiding-place.

But, instead we had dinner of thai food at Serusop and disappointingly (not even sure if 'disappointingly' is vocabulary correct!) they don't have channel 103 -TV3 in their station.

Hmmm.... Tantu plg inda be-tv langsung tu macam K.N.Y. Kitchen di Kiarong.

The plan for tonite is... photoshoot-ing with the husband's family. Then, there shall also be soto-ing going on too. Maybe I should bring along the D60.

Oh well.... It will be a loooooooooong nite.

It's never too late to congratulate the graduated fellas this year.....

I have no regrets going up the hill to ICC just for the sake of sharing the glorious moments. Congratulations you guys!!

You may ask why....what happened.....

Well, once upon a night, dengan iskinya kami ke kadai gambar yang terletak di kawasan Gadong. Tujuan kan meliat gambar-gambar konvo & dinner di JPCC. (Inda payah la kan bercerita panjang-panjang).

.

It's disappointing enough that they only took ONE snapshot on the stage. Kan membali [burn ke CD] gambar atu (untuk simpanan sendiri di kemudian hari) puuuun INDA IA MEMBAGI!

Since kami kurang puas hati with the image, kami minta cucikan 4R which she clearly said $1.00. When we came back to pick up the photos.....apologized tia yang 4R atu inda dapat dicuci, MESTI 8R -- $10 sekaping.

Ok la....nevermind that. Then we realized that they developed the WRONG photo! Walaupun sudah kami clearly wrote the number code. Atu pun buleh salah... atu pun buleh cuai.

Customer : Eh, I already wrote the number code here. U developed the wrong number. Why, U can't read my handwriting??

Lady : I'm sorry, sirrr.

Customer : One more thing ah. Just now you said you can develop 4R sized photo. You said it's $1.00. Now, you said cannot. WHY?

Lady : Sorry, sirrr. I forgot.

Customer : FORGOT, FORGOT!

Nah, bangang tah ko lagi! Lain kali ambil perhatian. Sudahpun menyusahkan customer...service inda bagus... MAHAL hantap. Pekerja cuai, inda cekap.

Kadai gambar yang sebuah lagi hanya menawarkan harga $8 untuk 8R. Ia tah saja harapan ni. Hopefully hasilnya lebih memuaskan, walaupun tepaksa menunggu hari Jumaat baru ia mengeluarkan semua gambar-gambar konvo for viewing.

The bottom line is....bari jaraaaaa. Inda ku nyanyat ke sana.

Baik lagi tu....... Ada tia lagi gambar graduan 'in a very odd position' as she held her green folder hujung-hujung jari....both arms opened and looked as if she's retarded. (No offence on that last statement) But seriously, I was taken aback.

If it was ME in the picture, I'd be PIST!!! Bukan lagi pissed...ertinya labih dari pissed tah sudah tu.

Sebuting atu saja lagi gambarnya tu. Kesiaaaan.

LOL~ Ada jua yang macam Hunchback of Notre Dame!! KAH KAH KAH.... Urang-urangnya saja tau tu! (Jan marah, San! Hehehe...)

I miss Korea.... I miss the winter season....

Still frustrated when I think about the previous episode of Nur Kasih....

We had a wonderful time at JPCC last night! **sigh**

Hubs & I will be attending an appreciation dinner for selective graduates who are presented with Hadiah Buku by organised by UBD tonight at Polo Club Restaurant.

This will be a major thing and will definitely be the highlight of his convocation. I am super happy for him and of course, grateful for Allah the Almighty to be given the chance of witnessing and sharing the special moments with him.

A lot has happened these past few weeks. As a matter of fact, when I typed in my MSN status ‘A hectic week for most of us’, it does mean for me and hubs. We tried to hold back the tiring effect despite busy schedules.

A relaxing time spent after staying a nite at Mangrove Paradise Resort has to be one of the best thing aside from all of that…. A small celebration as a token of my appreciation for his great achievement before the actual graduation date the next day.

October is surely a hectic month. His 3-days of rehearsals which started last Monday has been tiring, what’s with getting up early and left home at 5.30 a.m., work in the afternoon and came home after 6 p.m.

Saturday was the most awaited day for most UBDians…a day celebrated with smiles, laughters, flashes of camera and rolls of videos. I’m glad to be able to share their moments (eventho’ my sister & I were only there as invited guests). But we were both grateful to be there and witnessed our sister, Lainy, my husband and her boyfriend’s graduation.

We watched them as they (the bf, our sister and hubs respectively) walked gracefully with pride on the red carpet and made their entrance to the big hall.

Those are the most memorable moments. And I reminisced once in a while in my own seat, remembering the day I graduated.

And now I sit and wonder....siapa lagi keluarga terdekat kami akan graduate lapas ani....
