Woof wooof! - Part 2

Hubb and I have been thinking of a way to get rid of the pups. They were five healthy pups to be exact. I took a peek this morning, while the mother wasn't around, of costtt! Those poor thing looked precisely like newborn kittens. Adorable, yet HARAM!

I was awakened by the sound of barking this morning. I ran downstairs and found hubb holding his broom outside. That damn dog was barking at him for no reason! She felt threatened by the sight of a broom in hand.

So, this afternoon hubb and his dad called over a non-muslim friend to help move the pups. Seeing that they were newborn, they considered moving them not too far. Just so that their mother could find them. Hence, less than an hour later she moved them all back to the original spot!!

Woof wooof! - Part 1

*Nak cari kayu... nak cari kayu...*
*Du bidu bidu... Nada makanan sini**At the centre of this snapshot is where the 'treasures' sleep.

When I got home today, I found a female dog (which seemed to me like she just gave birth) roaming around in my backyard. Bila dihalau pun inda jua usulnya kan lari. So, I was curios what brought her here in my backyard. Malarku subuk-subuk, inda tia ada lagi lapas atu. Relieved but still curious... Maybe kuyuk atu beanak tinggal di rumah belakang atu lagi. Since rumah ngangah yang nada penghuni atu usulnya selamat untuk kuyuk atu tinggal. Convinced with that thought, suddenly sayup-sayup kedangaran bunyi anak kuyuk dari jauh. Jangul-jangul tah ku sambil tinting meliat kawasan atas bukit, tapi inda jua keliatan apa-apa. Makin lama bunyi anak kuyuk atu macam ampir saja seolah-olah menarik perhatianku untuk meliat kawasan bawah bukit di belakang rumah atu.

I was shocked to find dalam samak-samak exactly bawah batu basar ampir veranda dapur (from where I stood) 2 newborn puppies!! It was hard to tell how many of them to be exact, but I could see 2 or 3 of them sleeping. SHIT!!
Patut tah ada taie bawah rumah & di halaman dapan rumah masa ari atu! Shiiiiit! Aaaarggghhh... Damn it!
When hubb got home, tarus tah I 'story' him. He was shocked too. Oh God!
What matters now is how to get rid of them. Puppies can grow fast aaaaand puppies are extremely cuddly + naturally friendly! I could just imagine them roaming around our house begging us to play with them!
While hubb and I were talking and figuring out what to do, he suddenly said, "Jangan-jangan patut tah c-Paris selalu ke belakang batu atu!"
Extra shocking news!!! Our faces changed in disgust!! Aaaaarggghhh... I felt like screaming. Kambang buluku tarus! Damn it!
And then he added, "Aiii... Yang badan c-Paris luka-luka atu pasal gatalkah banar??!!"
AAAAAAAAARRGGGGHHHH!
I can't say anymore. Go figure!

MICHAEL JACKSON IS OFFICIALLY A MUSLIM!

AMERICAN POP star Michael Jackson has embraced Islam and his new name is Mikaeel. According to a report in The Sun, the 50-year-old singer converted to Islam at a friend’s mansion in Los Angeles. The report said that Jackson pledged his allegiance to the Holy Quran at a small ceremony. Jackson, wearing a small hat, sat on the floor after an Imam was summoned to officiate at the conversion ceremony. An Imam was summoned from a mosque and Michael went through the Shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of Islamic belief.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, as the seventh child of the Jackson family, an American family of famous musicians. Infact, Michael Jackson is the second member of the Jackson family to embrace Islam.

Michael’s elder brother Jermaine Jackson or Mohammed Abdul Aziz embraced Islam in the year 1989, following his tour of some Middle-East countries. During his tour Jermaine reportedly met up with some Muslim families in Bahrain whose way of living impressed him a lot and he converted to Islam. However, Jermaine Jackson publicly expressed his Islamic belief after having been a part of UK’s famous show Big Brother, where he offered prayers and observed fast in the house as well. Jermaine Jackson had reportedly persuaded Michael Jackson to become a Muslim and gave him several books on the religion.

Jackson’s new name, Mikaeel, is the name of one of Allah’s angels. Another name suggested to the star was Mustafa, meaning ’the chosen one’, but he rejected it. However, Michael Jackson has not furnished the reason for embracing Islam.

Random thought

I just got out of my shower at 11.34 p.m. and as soon I step my foot out of the bathroom, I felt utterly COLD! I shivered so hard my teeth rattled.
What crosses my mind now is what would it be like in Korea in December. If I couldn't stand the cold here, what about there??

Oh, one more thing... I must try finding a halal sushi restaurant in Korea! Don't wanna miss that opportunity.

36 DAYS TO 2009

It's 36 more days to new year 2009. So far, how did everything go for me... Time does fly by fast, huh.

It was a usual morning in February when I received a letter in school. With my name stated, the letter hereby announced for me to be posted to a different school.

I recalled that moment being relieved rather than shocked. So, I began my work at a new environment, a different school, new colleagues starting March. I've been working here ever since. The best part of being here is the short drive to work. Everything else is normal.
I do miss my former colleagues, especially Salina & Laili, of costtt... The difference now is that, this year my colleagues are are rather older than me. They're more like my aunts.
They've been in this profession more than 10 years, unlike me.
I am glad that I've no problem communicating with them. Getting to know them I gained lotsa knowledge. Well, most of the time they're crappy+hilarious knowledge, I may say.
Coming to the end of this year and after the PSR was over, I did enjoy the fun just being with this bunch. Hehehe...
I look up to them career-wise. Hence, I learnt that next year we won't be hanging together as much anymore. They'll be taking over Primary 4 while I will be staying to teach Primary 6. I'll sure miss them next year.

Taklimat Fardhu Ain dan Kifayah

Taklimat Fardhu Ain dan Kifayah ini dilaksanakan oleh sebuah syarikat swasta.

They're promoting their collection of educational VCD about Islamic knowledge.
I particularly like a set of VCD exclusively for women delivered by Mashitah (correct me if I'm wrong). The info are priceless!

I envy those bloggers with super-cool layouts.
I, on the other hand, have no idea on how to magically transform it. That sucks, big time! I wish someone could do it for me. Otherwise, I might stay with this layout as long as I live...

Proposal...proposal... Haven't got time to sit down and focus on it yet. It has to be ready by next week, before the deadline 29th November.
Uggghhhhh....

I can't make up my mind on what topic to do research on. HELP!!

Making it happen - Part 1

Map of Korea
Paid deposits to the travel agency for our upcoming 'outdated-honeymoon' vacation. Departure date will be on the 19th December. Can't wait for that!

Tonight I was lepak-ing with my sistas. We discussed a bit more on what to wear during winter. I'm absolutely psyched over it.... *sigh*
Necessary items: winter coat, thermal clothings (leggings & top), scarf, gloves (I prefer leather), lotion/moisturiser.
They warned me about my skin getting itchy without lotion. And that my nostril will get uncomfortable from breathing in the cold weather. My nose will probably turn red too. So I better watch out for that.

I've no idea how it's like to be in a rather cold country. Korea in winter time... Too bad that we've to be off on the 25th. It'll be Christmas time then, and the travel agent informed us of 'naik harga' during that time.

The atmosphere is soooo boring here in S.R. Rimba II with all the talk & briefing of SPN21. It seems impossible to imagine schools reform at this stage, without much equipments what-so-ever needed next year. I'm pretty sure the teachers are as confused as I am.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm thinking of end of year gifts for 5 students that I carefully picked out for achieving their goals in PSR. Four of them are girls. One boy passed with 4-D's. Mind you, he's physically unfit and yet managed to pass unlike 10 of his classmates!
I do feel sorry for the rest who failed... Sorry that they didn't work hard enough... Sorry that they didn't make an effort to learn the basics for the past six years they've spent in school.
But I am glad that one boy actually had put his mind and strength together. I don't know what the future brings, but I wish him the best of luck.
So, for now I'm thinking hard figuring out gift ideas for my boy and girls. One girl got 5-A's. I need to get something extra special. I'm blanked right now.... I better get some sleep.
It's real GOLD!
Hubb and I went out tonite to Yayasan. We had a nice dinner of dim sum there. Sometime around 8.30 later, we walked to the car at the basement.
As hubb drove out of the parking spot, I somehow got a glimpse of sumwhat looked like a chain just hanging on a metal hook attached on a wall. I didn't get a closer look at it, but hubb decided to go round it another time just to get a closer sight of it. I let out a sigh saying it's probably a 'sitat baju'...We got around a second time and it really looked like a small golden chain with crystal beads. Anxiety made us go a final round and this time hubb stopped the car and took it to the car. IT'S A GOLDEN BRACELET!
Shocked, I couldn't believe what's now in my hand. How could someone just leave it around hanging on a metal hook. It looked like someone has left it purposely there. If it did belong to someone, logically the bracelet should be lying on the ground rather than elsewhere hanging on a hook!
And now, what should I do with it??
PSR RESULTS are finally released!
The long-awaited results are finally out. (Apologies for the grades arrangement for each participant). Sucks! It is so difficult to edit from its original format. Over and over again, everything fell back into place. I don't get it.
You may also click the link below to get the full PSR results from all over Brunei Darussalam. [By the way, I originally got it from Ranoadidas]. So, you may also check it out from there.
Internet addict???
With the monthly bill for eSpeed usage; Facebook-ing; blogging; song downloading via Limewire, Bearshare....
I always seem to have excuses to turn on my computer and connect to the internet.
So which one am I really: internet addict OR computer addict??
I'm not that sure myself. I certainly use up my eSpeed bill as much as I could possibly able to.
I remember the time when I had a whole week of no internet access. I didn't thought of going crazy, but I do feel cheated by the service.
Computer addict...well, if I do use alot of my time editting photos using Photoshop, then I might consider myself being computer addict. Or, Photoshop addict to be exact!
Whatever that I am addicted to, I guess I just don't wanna be left out, as far as internet is concerned. After all, it is one of my access or route to any form of information.
YOUTUBE-ing
Just wanna share with you and have a laugh.
Cemana bulih Charles & Keith yang ku pakai kurang dari setahun bulih lakap? Bukannya dibawa sampai ke hutan. Ishhh... Kacau eh. Baik jua ada spare selipar di bawah mejaku. And most importantly, baik jua selasai sudah balik dari bejalan. Bari hawar saja!
Food Security Exhibition
Today, I had the opportunity to get out of school with Primary 6 students along with 4 other teachers to the ICC in the morning.
Turned out that the term 'Food Security' used here simply means having a 'control diet over food intake'. So basically it promotes generous food that we eat.
The exhibition area seemed quiet. There weren't much to look at as we walked our way through. However, as far as 'generous food and control diet' goes, there's one particular area where we finally sat down and really get to enjoy as much -- the EATING ZONE. Now, this area promotes AYAMKU, JOLLIBEE, TASCONI PIZZA, etc.
I guess it all comes down to reality. We are what we eat. I gulped down a chicken burger and ice milo myself. So tempting!
I'll put up photos taken today next time. So stay tune...
