They don't cater kid's meal nor drinks. I ended up buying a can of soya bean from an outside store.

Frust over Nur Kasih....

Just last week, hubs & I were sitting in the living room catching another episode of Nur Kasih. I have to say that I was and still am disappointed with Nur in the story. Disappointed pasal ia sanggup menyuruh Adam tidur sama 2nd wifenya! I mean, how could she?! Errgghhhh…. Frust ku meliat! Sedangkan c-Adam pun tekajut c-Nur buleh menyuruh ia cematu. Of course, by right he has to do so, but to be told so by his own beloved wife!

And the next day (in the story masih ni ah!), Nur decided to accept Katrina (her ‘madu’) as family. OMG!! How far can I tolerate next week’s episode, I stil dunno.

Sorry, but I am totally feeling the story now. Normally, I would be anxious thinking how the next episode would be like.But after last Friday, I’m like….what the heck, Nur will have to share her husband with Kat from now on. How great is that?!!! I can’t bear watching her cry over her own jealousy….and knowing that she has to deal with it by herself from then on.

Yetah, inda pedah aku pun makan ati meliat.

Samseng selangkir~

These black birds with red eyes are really a nuisance and plain evil. Why?? Coz I witnessed it attacking my innocent cat the other day! Mind you, bukan sekali but numerous times okay.

Jahat eh selangkir ah! I dunno if they naturally attack cats (manatau ada masalah keturunan yang turun temurun sampai ke generasi burung selangkir di abad ke-20!) or they do it for the sake of fun of bullying other furry animals.

Damn those birds! Sudah pun menumpang ia besarang di bumbung rumah...bejurit segala rumput karing ulihnya mengangkut ke sana kemari....pastu banyak tia biji macam kacang tanah (WTH ever are those I also dunno) di keliling halaman rumah.....atu balum lagi ia membuang taienya tu.....

One of these days....membuat trap ku....pasang pukat bisai....mun ku dapat, ku bagi kamu rah kucingku!!! That'll teach you selangkir being so taiming!

It's damn frustrating.
This broadband has 49% signal strength, but it's as slow as a snail's ass!!

Anyway, who's going to Limbang or Miri anytime this week ah? Kan bekirim majalah Nona bulan Oktober. Been drooling over its advert in another magazine.....with Nasha Aziz in the front cover......sporting bright red lipstick looking oh-so-glam.

She's looks super sexy in red and making it irresistable. Just got to have it while stocks last.

Oooh wow! My signal strength has gone up to 93%! Banar kah jua laju ni...antah2 angin.

Bayar lain hari pun boleeee...

Hubs and I were out in a DVD store located in Muara town the other night.
The salesperson, an Indian was very cheerful towards us, the only customer during that time.
So cheerful that somehow sounded 'memajal' to us.


Hubs: DVD baru2 ada?

Salesperson: Aji, ini baru2 DVD sini.

Hubs: Bah, ok.

Salesperson: Kaka, ini cerita Korea baru2. Semua baru sana. Bagus punya cerita.

Me: (Angguk2)

Salesperson: Ini juga cerita Indo bagus2. Ini cerita 'Bohsia' baru.

Hubs: Inda payah eh. Ada sudah di rumah. (which is untrue. Rasa bah kan mengelak offer).

Me: Aweh. Yang sini saja kami mau liat.

Salesperson: Sini DVD terang2 punya....

Salesperson: (Gesturing at CDs on his counter) CD baru2 kaka...ini bagus punya cerita...Indon...Malaysia.

Me: Tida apa, ini saja saya mau bali.

Salesperson: (Sambil senyum2) Lain hari bayar pun bole juga, aji.

Me: Ishhh....bali CD pun buleh lain hari jua kah.

Salesperson: Bole kaka.

Me: Inda payah eh. Baik ku membayar tarus.

Cemana tah kan untung bisnes mun customer digalakkannya membayar lain hari. Mun tekana customer jujur baik jua. Mun inda kana bayar.....appraaaaa....

And quite frankly I'm half pissed when he said I could pay up next time.

Baik jua nada urang lain di kadai atu. Sounded like I can't afford paying DVDs that I purchase. I mean, COME ON!

You probably have encountered it before once in a while. I mean, that kinda offer.

I don't know about you, but I find it offensive despite their kind intention. Intention baik tia karang kan menyuruh diri beutang tia plg.

Kalau yang kan diutang ani ribu2 harganya, barangkali jua. Ani harga bepuluh jua ganya.


I'm not saying that everyone can afford paying up in cash regardless its amount. But rather, liat2 la urang keliling.

Inda kan customer pakai bag LV or GUCCI di'offer' cematu. (Not saying I have such authentic bags either!) Unless, they themselves yang minta beutang.

Plainly over-rated

I just love playing Restaurant City. If I were to have my own restaurant, I'd manage just fine (I think!) *Shrug shoulders*

But yeah, I'm really kicking in to the game itself. And I love their upgrades. Recently, I hired a new employee which makes it all 9 of them. 9 employees instead of 8!

Plus, they had also added new furnitures for purchase. I always look forward to that.

So yeah, like I said before, I have been playing Restaurant City for quite a long while. And I remember very well that my rating had stayed at 3.0-sumthin' for so long, that I just decided not to bother with rates as long as my 'business' keeps going.

But yesterday I found this.......

And I simply can't explain how it had gone that high.......in just overnight, I suppose.

All I'm saying is honestly, my restaurant is over-rated. Thus, I have no idea who's responsible for it. I rest my case.

On normal days...

Check in at work..... sit for awhile....catch my breath

Take out my Acer-Mini....plug-in it's charger and switch it on....

Plug-in my broadband....get online....click on Facebook....and I start to....
GAME ON!!!


Banyak sudah game di Facebook ani, macam2 sudah dicuba. Yetah membarinya menyangkut dapan computer saja......
Even so, I only keep my Restaurant City, Country Story and Island Paradise.
Only once in a while I'd visit Farmville.

But yesterday afternoon, I've only started playing this one new game - Home Inn.

And I immediately got hooked.

Maybe there's a syndrome going on coz I'm constantly spending way too much time on the internet, and facebook in particular.

Yang inda bisainya pakai broadband ani, malar disconnect. Balik2 'disconnect'nya. Yetah inda smooth main game. Sucks!

Eid & food festivity ~

Our whole school just had its Aidilfitri celebration today.

The classes were decorated. Food were laid out on arranged tables right in the centre of the room…. The kids wore their best outfits, all pretty and colourful.
The atmosphere was extra cheerful today.

We started moving from one class to the other, children waited in each room welcoming us teachers, shook our hands and ask for forgiveness zahir & batin. There were about 12 classes that we visited.

The last agenda was....acara makan! Everyone was in their best mood and all smiles.
Hey, I don't see why not with all the food and jokes of tapau-ing session! LOL~

Too bad I didn't bring my cammy with me.

Beutang tidur ni....

Sunday.........got up as early as 6-ish. My eyes were still pretty much sleepy after yesterday, like they still need their long, good rest.

Was already in the hall around 7.30, thinking maybe I could get my yesterday's bundle of papers done before everyone in our group comes. Turned out our papers weren't there yet.

But the good thing was we only need to finish up 22 papers today.

So yeah, we pretty much finished everything today, settled and submitted our forms.

The marking process was really tiring. I was so exhausted yesterday and realized I was driving home at 6pm! Biji mata pun rasanya macam kan tekeluar lapas merait inda beranti berjam-jam. Kan juling rasanya. Saat-saat ahir atu pun macam begimbar sudah tulisan kanak-kanak.

Hmmm, but I need the experience.
I would do it again next year, insya-Allah.

*Gasp* I haven't type my LP yet!! Tomorrow's MONDAY!

Marking papers starts today morning.

But we have other plans at home in the afternoon. I hope to be given a permission for not attending later. Can't cancel on our guests'. The show HAS to go on!

Thank goodness, it's OVER!

The PSR exam is finally OVER. Whewww!

But the next thing is even worse...... MARKING the papers!

Mind you, it is my first time. And I hope I'm getting all the experience and real good tips from the veterans on how to mark super-turbo-fast tomorrow.

It shall be a tiring process as the work starts early morning (then, a short break at midday) till late afternoon. And yeah, we need to come on Friday & Sunday too.

Tomorrow's the big day....the long awaited day by all Year 6 students of Brunei Darussalam.
Yes, their final year examination -- PSR.

It starts tomorrow Monday, 5th October until the 8th (Thursday).

This year, I'll be invigilating the exam at S.R. Tanah Jambu.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow. And I would very much like to wish all of the 36 students of Year 6 (who will be sitting for the exam next week) the best of luck. May you all succeed with flying colours! Amiin ya rabbal alamin.....

Today's 11 Syawal 1430 Hijrah, which means that it's now the 11th day of Raya.

For me, the best thing about raya and one of the things that I most waited for are the TV commercials brought by Petronas.

My, oh my, oh my.... Exactly 10 days left to PSR exam!

Today's the 5th day of Aidilfitri. Two more days of holiday bliss, then it'll be back to work/school!

Haven't even started typing my LP just yet.
I have however, worn all my new raya clothes...except for one which is still hanging safely & quietly in the closet.....since raya last year (to be exact)!!

It rained today, rather heavily, in the afternoon. Visited 5 houses right after Friday prayer. Two of them were 'open house' invitations.

At the moment, I am actually waiting for Nur Kasih which will start any minute now on TV3.

Happy teacher's day to all my fellow colleagues and teacher-friends.
It sure is a bliss to be celebrating teacher's day & spending 3rd Syawal this year all together.
Just got back from a relative's open house. No idea of where we're going after this.

Walaupun Ramadhan sudah berlalu, namun setentunya aku akan merindui bulan puasa yang banyak menguji kesabaranku.

Bulan Syawal yang dinanti-nantikan kini tiba lagi.....

I was actually going thru tutorial vids on applying liquid eyeliner, which I found loads off costtt.
I really like this particular daytime make-up tutorial vid by shimmers54. A very pleasant presentation and very soft-spoken. She made it all look oh-so simple and easy peasy for any first-timer or learner.

"...like they're supposed to be sisters and not twins..." -- she was implying on her non-identical eyebrows. True and cute.

What did I do today?
Got up early to send our cars for polish at Gadong Tyremart. Hubs was pretty excited to see the result. Coz he's been meaning to get rid of garit-garit made by our precious, lovely, adorable bastard of a cat! Naik atas kreta saja krajanya, balik2 dah dimarahi.

3.30pm - Made my way to Hua Ho Kiulap for my 4 o'clock facial appointment at Sari Ayu. Mind you, first time ku buat facial di kadai, selalunya di salon. Or at least in a proper room. Hmmm, never mind the small space, but the noises made by customers walking/passing along the counter and the loud Raya music in the loud speaker. *Sigh*

By 5-ish, I was done. Hubs had already took our cars home. Half past 5, I fetched my parents and went our way to i-Lotus for sungkai.

We had our sungkai dine-out over at i-Lotus, like wise.
Each year we would book one last family sungkai anywhere, and we would sit+eat....take more food...sit+eat....make another round....so forth, so forth...and wait for the moon sighting announcement in the loud speaker.


Anyway.... So you've heard that Aidilfitri falls on Monday, the 21st of September, yea. That means, one more day to fast.... Aaaand, more chances to do last minute shopping/errands for most of us!! I for one, am still thinking of getting a foot scrub tomorrow. Tee-heee....

I am soooo frustrated as I can't get to watch the earlier episodes of Nur Kasih (Ep 6 - 8) via youtube.
