This week's gonna be a hectic one for I need to do lotsa revision with my kids for their upcoming test by the end of the month. Need to do loads of typing up and photocopying.

In between that, I'm thinking of having a dinner some place nice and different with my family. Planning on doing it at Li Gong or Emperor's Court...but perhaps end up at Rizqun last-lastnya. Hehehe... Still planning and depending much on my big sister's busy, flight schedule.

APRIL IS THE MONTH ~~

What a coincidence. Since April is my birth-month, and the fact that my blog is sorta 'ditaja oleh' Telbru (as I'm a frequent user of e-Speed), I feel that I may as well put up the Telbru web banner (like the one displayed on the right side) on my blog.

This April, Telbru is celebrating their 3rd anniversary. And they are organizing a couple of fun competition for the public to join and win something on this ocassion. Particularly, there is this Blog & Win competition for all the blog-fanatics.

I, for one, am running out of ideas to post entries that contain over 1000 - 2500 words. So, consider myself out. Good luck!

Adam vs. Allison

Behind the wicked eye-shadow... he has the most powerful voice...undeniably, highest note among the other six contestants of American Idol.



However, my least favourite has to be Allison... Simply because of her outrageous, flaming, red hair... which is totally unnecessary and over-done. Sure she has talent, yeah. However, I simply don't think that American Idol needs another 'Kelly Clarkson' to win the show.

Was out and about today. It was raining all afternoon.

So, hub & I stopped by this KK a.k.a. Indian shop located at Sg. Hanching. We noticed that the first floor is now opened for business. Ada jual baju...tudung...brooches... In short, macam-macam la. Yang bari herannya, the ladies clothings are quite cheap. Kalau tampat lain would probably cost $15...yet, they're selling for $9.90!

Unbelievably, I managed to walk out of the building with a woven tote & a similar 'woven' pair of slippers. Plus, both stuffs led to the price of less than 20 bucks (after 10% discount).

And so, here I am wondering...mampu jua ku shopping di KK ani ah. Kejarangan ku belurih ni. Hehe!

Woman's tofu license plate curdles in Colorado

DENVER – One Colorado woman's love for tofu has been judged X-rated by state officials. Kelly Coffman-Lee wanted to tell the world about her fondness for bean curd by picking certain letters for her SUV's license plate. Her suggestion for the plate: "ILVTOFU." But the Division of Motor Vehicles blocked her plan because they thought the combination of letters could be interpreted as profane.
Says Department of Revenue spokesman Mark Couch: "We don't allow 'FU' because some people could read that as street language for sex."
Officials meet periodically to ensure state plates stay free of letters that abbreviate gang slang, drug terms or obscene phrases.
The 38-year-old Coffman-Lee says tofu is a staple of her family's diet because they are vegan and that the DMV misinterpreted her message.

Cat found alive after 5 weeks under rubble

BERLIN (Reuters) – A cat named Felix was found alive and well beneath the rubble of a six-storey building in Cologne that collapsed five weeks ago, the fire brigade in German city said Tuesday.
The 12-year-old cat was in surprisingly good health, authorities said. He was found beneath the city archives building that collapsed on March 3.
Rescue workers were clearing away the rubble from the ruins, in which two people were killed, when they spotted a pair of small paws.
"The men lifted some concrete blocks when suddenly a little cat came to light," said Dietmar Paust, fire brigade spokesman.

Man accidentally shoots himself at drive-through

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A stop at a fast-food restaurant's drive-through on Tuesday afternoon led to a trip to the hospital after a man accidentally shot himself in the leg with a pistol. The 24-year-old man was apparently trying to clear the weapon when it went off and hit him in the calf.
Police said the man didn't need a permit because the gun wasn't concealed, so he didn't break any laws.
His name was not released.

Man causing real stink in motel room gets stabbed

WACO, Texas – A man was stabbed after causing a stink — literally — in a motel room while eating with a friend, police said. Five men from the Houston area were sharing a Waco motel room Tuesday night, and two were inside the room eating when one had a flatulence problem, Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said. One man was so upset about the gas that he threw a large knife at him, cutting his leg, and then stabbed him in the chest, Anderson said.
The 35-year-old man was transported to a Waco hospital, where he was treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, Anderson said.
Jose Braule Ramirez, 33, of Houston, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said. He was arraigned Wednesday and was being held in the McLennan County Jail on $15,000 bond and placed on an immigration hold, according to jail records. He cannot be released, even if he posts bond, until authorities verify he is in the country legally.
A jail spokeswoman who declined to give her name said she was not allowed to release information on whether Ramirez had an attorney.

'PANAS' is the word of the day

I was out today in the afternoon and let me just say this.......PANAAAAASSSSSS.

It's like the only word that I could say all day since morning.

Masuk ke kelas...."Panas eh!"...

During lesson, "Panas eh! Inda kamu panaskah?"

Masuk staff room, "Ishh! Panas eh di luar atu".

Come midday, kan start kereta di garaj... "Ya Allah! Panasnyaaaa...."

Balik rumah, "Air-con...air-con...Panas eeeh".

Masuk and keluar dari kereta, "Aduh! Panas, panas!"

Minta ampun eh panasnya. And now, my throat feels like there's a biji kembayau menyangkut. Sakit menalan, panas kali di dalam. Ya Allah, mudahan tah capat baik sakit leher ku ani.

WHO'S CARE??? Hahaha....

As I said yesterday... I had no high hopes for our team. We lost the match, as I've expected. They managed to score a couple of points, but that's it. Regardless of all that, they had fun playing and us teachers enjoyed watching the game.

Jantah luan dibanar-banari. Mun manang, ngalih lagi lawan skulah lain. Asal ikutserta saja pun cukup.

At least, I've more peace in my lessons.

Tomorrow, my girl team will be having a netball match against S.R. Kapok for Kejohanan Bola Jaring Sekolah-sekolah Rendah Kawasan Brunei II B.

The venue is at the Multipurpose Hall (located near the Indoor Stadium Berakas). And it will take place in the afternoon.

Honestly, at the moment, I've no high hopes that they're gonna win the match. It takes a lot than just doing practices.

Oh well, as long as they have fun being in the team and enjoy watching the game itself. Coz I always do!!

I would also like to add that.... I'm losing my voice. It's kinda 'sarut' now. I sound like a man when I talk! Really!

It was okay in the morning, but as the weather gets hotter, my voice got worse....from sweet to hoarse...like a MAN!

The weather really gets to me....uggghhhh... And I'm thinking, cana kan besorak masa netball ni esuk?!!

Cuti skulah pun kan abis, tinggal esuk saja lagi. My LP balum start buat lagi. I'm sooo not ready to go back to work just yet.

I gotta say this... I miss watching Lipstick Jungle so much. Caught an episode today and I missed out a couple of episodes before that.

Has anyone ever watched "Sonata Labu Labi" that was shown sometime along this few days?? Starring jokerman Nabil. Supposed to be hilarious, or so I've been told.

Currently I'm at Aneka Rasa Qlap, just finished dinner and now kinda lay back enjoying some karaoke entertainment by some family members. I'm utterly full drinking too much coffee. Earlier this evening, I've just eaten indomee & cuppa coffee as well and I totally forgot about tonite's dinner.

Tiring + unplanned

Oh man... What a tiring day today is. Such a long journey home...*sigh*. You might be wondering what the hell was I up to today.

Hubb, his sister and I decided to go to Miri this morning. It's all unplanned, but hey why not?

I bought a couple of magazines, a brand new pair of glasses, a pair of 'banana peel' flip flops and a new 1000ml 'bros' water bottle.

I just couldn't take my eyes off the wide selection of flip flops on display. The pair that I bought costed me RM$22 and that's the cheepest pair there is.

And I also upgraded myself in getting a bigger water bottle. The first bottle was a 750ml type. They seem to have better looking bottles with funky and outstanding designs, which I very much prefer.

As for my new specs... I look nerdier! Haha... I love it!! I couldn't have the exact frame style that I wanted, so I have to settle with this instead.

Tomorrow morning I shall be up early for an extra class session. So, I think I better get into bed now.....zZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz

Just got home from a dine out session with my family, sponsored by the 'soon-to-be-28-by-midnite' sister. A dinner at i-Lotus is always a relaxing one. We sat at our usual open-air spot. It was drizzling earlier.

I didn't eat as much as I wanted too, probably coz I had eaten too much of Sasbrownies. They were undescribably delicious. Maybe too sweet for some, but I don't mind it a bit!

Oh... I can still remember the taste... *I'm in cloud nine*.....

Long time no post. Me busy...not really. Me lazy...yea, kinda.

Oh, I watched a couple of black movie yesterday and earlier this morning. One is "Three can play that game" and the other one "Daddy's Little Girls".

Funny flick. You should catch "Two Can Play That Game". It's waaay better!

I can't help thinking that the children could be real siblings. They kinda have similarities.

And to add it all up... I just love Gabrielle Union. Love all the movies she starred in.

School break starts NOW!

Ah, the first term of school holiday is here. 10 days... It doesn't sound like much. Although it's more like a brief school holiday, it'll be enough for us teachers out there, just to get ourselves away from the hectic atmosphere what's with running and screaming kids in the background.

That being said, I do still need to stop by the school from time to time delivering lessons for extra class. At least, I won't be encountering screaming children during breaktime.

What shall I do with my 10 days break? At the moment, I do feel the need to go out more...like to Bukit Shahbandar and Tasek Lama. Apart from that, I'd love to check in to a hotel somewhere.... and it's been a long time since my last trip to KB. Maybe I should talk hubb into it.

Kan ke KK...jauh. Kan ke Miri...takut. Baik tah stay dalam negeri saja, for now.

Tomorrow's the last day of school before the first term school holiday.

Yay yay! Lusa cuti! Yay yay...

Tapi ada EXTRA CLASS masa cuti! Jangan tah prasan kan cuti banar-banar. Awuuuuu... Jangan dulu angan-angan jauh.

The 'Ouch!' and the 'Wow!' of the day

Had a waxing session in the late afternoon. And let me tell you this...Damn, it felt like the first time!!

Regardless of all the pain, I do feel satisfied with the service today. Ira waxed my underarms and trimmed my brows F.O.C. Thanks to her. Plus, I feel super clean right in the southern region, if you know what I mean. Hahaha... I guess I got the balls to do it, AGAIN!!

In the evening, my sis surprised me with the arrival of my VS Retro Suitcase. As excited as I was, I did not expect it to be as big as a small travelling bag! I thought it would be as big as a regular tote that I carry around with me to work. Angan-angan tah ku sudah kan memakai untuk kraja. Eseh! Kan dipakai kraja tia konon, basar ah. Ujung-ujung kana pikir ku tidur di skulah.

Oh well... whose care?!

If hub doesn't approve of it, I think I need to let it go or put it on sale or sumthin'. But I still like it oh-so-much. Let's hope he'll say it's okay to keep.

Today's Friday the 13th

My birthday is coming up soon. Personally, I don't feel like celebrating much. It's less fun if you're turning over 30+ of age.

If you're asking what I want for my birthday, I'll definitely say I don't know. Coz I really don't bother about presents anymore. I rather get them my own way, I suppose. I rather spend it with my own money. What I would like to do on my birthday... I think I wanna spend the day with my family & hub. If I was given a birthday cake, I'd like it if I could blow the candles & cut the cake with my mom. Why? I think it would be wise to spend a birthday with the one who gave birth to you. It's not just my 'birth'day, but I do share the day with my mom. She held me on my 'birthdate' and made sure I'm alive, literally.

I slept late last night and watched this 2004 chick flick '13 going on 30'. And I can't help feeling the message it sent through the movie itself. I do somehow feel like I missed out on some part of my life. What I'm trying to say is I'm 30 now... I need some changes over this life of mine. Will I stay living this way for the rest of my life. What I want or need is a massive change that could turn my perspective around. I wanna please people around me at the same time. I wanna make my parents happy. I want to prove something that could affect everyone around me. I wanna show it to the world.

I want something that I can look forward to for the rest of this life of mine. I want an addition to my very own family tree. That's all that I could wish for in this lifetime.

Googled for Lisa Loeb's eyeglasses coz I desperately need to know the brand that carries her eyeglasses. What I found isn't exactly the piece she's wearing, but somewhat has similar frame style. This one's called Bebe Eye Candy eyeglasses.

It's raining outside. Heard about Japanese Pop Culture that's been going on since yesterday held at Chancellor Hall of UBD. I'm keen on watching this particular Japanese anime screening famous by the name Doraemon. But I'm just too lazy to go out.

I sooooo want this!

Been doing some hunting over new pair of specs. Thought of getting one to replace my old, worn off piece that I normally wear at home while doing chores & stuff.

Last night, I visited one outlet at Yayasan Complex. And I like what I saw. There's this nice piece from Calvin Klein with a bit of diamante over each side. And I thought to myself, "This is just too good to be worn at home. Looks like I'm going off track here. Should I get 2 pairs??"

It would be nice to get Transitions lenses altogether. But at the same time, I do need to replace my daily specs. Ughh...decisions...decisions...

Good news is that I could pick any frame style from the store. So, it's up to me to consider over the price and brand of the glasses. And they will charge me $196 for the Transitions lenses (with non-multi-coated type).

Plus, they don't recommend multi-coated over the Transitions lenses as it will damage the glasses surface. The coat will eventually peel in time, thus spoil the special lenses.

Good to hear... Yet, I haven't made my decision.

I simply don't like the feeling of first-day-of-PMS. I feel yucky...and the pad I'm wearing is somewhat 'minty' coz it's a herbal, medicated type.
